Who are Christians?

I often wonder how can people refuse to accept Christ? How can they turn down someone who loves them more then anything in the entire universe. But then I realize they have not heard of the true Christ that loves them, heals them, that bears all their burdens and conquered death on their behalf. They dont see the God that created heaven and earth. The Alpha and Omega that cares enough to know their name, to die in their place, to hurt when they hurt. To cry when they cry, and to move heaven and earth, walk through fire, defeat death, and conquer the flames of hell to reach them.

No this is not the Christ they see. This is not the voice they hear. They hear us. The Christians. The ones called to be ambassadors for Christ, the ones to carry the news that only Jesus can save. In todays world we dont know enough of our Gods word to know who he is, much less share Him. We compromise, we sugar coat, we deny truths, sometimes we cant even explain our own hope. If we look and act the same as the world, will Christs power manifest and draw someone to become a Christian?

2 Corinthians 5:20 ESV

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

1 Peter 2:9 ESV

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Ephesians 2:10 ESV

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Lets show our Gods love and desire to heal this world. To remove their sins , though they were scarlet let them be as white as snow.

Remember you just might be the only Bible any one ever reads
