The weeds among the crops…

The harvest is plentiful and the weeds will be harvested and thrown in the fire. Only good crop will remain to be harvested for the Lord! In Matthew Jesus uses parables to help all understand his message, and yet in some cases not even the most devout priest of the law understood his message! As we read through today message I would pray the Lord would reveal his meaning to you and that he would allow me to share his word and his message I have been commanded to share. Praise you Father for truly you have revealed in your pleasure the kingdom of God to children that not even the most wise have seen!

24 Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.

27 “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’

28 “‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.

“The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’

29 “‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’” (Matthew Chapter 13 verse 24-29 NIV)

It is funny how some can come and truly try to fake faith and worship of the Lord. They come and try to pretend that they have faith and that they believe, that if they come to church, that if the say the amens or the halleluiahs that they will be saved, but as Jesus demonstrates very clearly that the “weeds” will be harvested and burned in the fire! The Lord knows your heart, the Lord knows your deeds, the Lord knows your intentions, the Lord knows all things! Don’t try and fool yourself, truly search your soul and ask if you were standing before the Lord even now, and he knows every single thing about you and your life, would you be confident in saying “Lord I believed in you, I never denied you before men, I called on your name, and I lived a live to glorify your name”. If you cannot say that without confidence you would be best served on your knees praying to the Lord to please him and understand the things you must do to glorify the Lord.

Jesus goes on to explain his parable in Matthew: 37 He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.

40 “As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42 They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear. (Matthew Chapter 13 verse 37-43 NIV)

This message is for those who are lost, do not fool yourself, the time draws nearer each day that you would no longer have the ability to call on the name of the Lord. Please understand that after you leave this life for the next that if you are not right and with the Lord that as you stand before the seat of judgment in heaven you will have no one to defend you. If you have been denying the grace of the Lord and trying to fight his hand at work in your life, fight no more, be at peace, allow the Lord to overcome and save you. Remember that the Lord’s yolk is easy, his burden is light: 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew Chapter 11 verse 28-30 NIV)

The Lord gives an open invitation friends, come to me, all who are weary and be weary no more! Are you tired friend? Are you sad? Angry? Frightened Jaded? Are you so ready for this all to be over? Seek the Lord and you will rest in his peace! The burden of this world is great, the hardships and trials you face are many, call on the name of Jesus Christ, Son of God, blessed redeemer and rest in his grace and power. If you are lost and “looking” for something look no further, the Lord is all good things. You are saved because of his gift, his gift is free and all you have to do is ask to receive it!

Praise you Father in Heaven for sending your Son to die so that we may all be saved! Lord we pray truly that we would be as the good crop at harvest, and that the weeds would be reborn from the grace of your Son Jesus Christ before harvest. If any reads this message and are lost father touch their heart and save them! For we know truly that it is not your will that a single soul would be lost! Praise you Father for your grace and power. Praise you Jesus Christ for laying down your life. We accept your yolk and know truly that you give us rest savior. Amen!

Stop doubting, have faith, be free…

It is so sad to me that throughout creation as God has revealed himself that so many have doubted his power and grace, so many have seen so many great miracles, so many have seen the power of God and while they cant explain the things they have seen, instead of glorying and worshiping God they try to explain when his power is revealed and pretend he does not exist. If you are on the fence or your heart is not yet hardened may you read this message and rejoice! Doubt is natural, but put your doubt to bed and praise the Lord as God and thank him for sending his only Son Jesus Christ so that you may have a relationship with him! How powerful is God?

3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. (Genesis Chapter 1 verse 3-5 NIV) God is so powerful that he spoke the world, the universe, and all things into existence. His power is beyond understanding and when you try to imagine it your brain tries to tell you “that is is impossible” but remember that the Lord is ancient of ages, he was, is, and will be for all time the power and grace over all things. Throughout the old testament God presents his power to all people, think about the Jews as God prepared to bring them out of Egypt:

14 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Pharaoh’s heart is unyielding; he refuses to let the people go. 15 Go to Pharaoh in the morning as he goes out to the river. Confront him on the bank of the Nile, and take in your hand the staff that was changed into a snake. 16 Then say to him, ‘The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to say to you: Let my people go, so that they may worship me in the wilderness. But until now you have not listened. 17 This is what the LORD says: By this you will know that I am the LORD: With the staff that is in my hand I will strike the water of the Nile, and it will be changed into blood. 18 The fish in the Nile will die, and the river will stink; the Egyptians will not be able to drink its water.’” (Exodus Chapter 7 verse 14-17 NIV) God through Moses commanded the Pharaoh of Egypt to free Moses and the Jews, Pharaoh refused, God struck Egypt with repeated plagues and signs from Heaven that God alone was in charge and that He had power to send and take away through plagues, famines, and so much more. Time after time in Exodus God sends plagues against the Egyptians, and time and time again people have doubt even as the Lord allows Moses to tell them what will happen before it happens! Even as the Lord takes away the plagues as Moses prays for him to do so to demonstrate not only is God in charge of all things but that when his people call for peace it will come. And still people doubted God!

The bottom line is that God demonstrated and still demonstrates his power over all of the ages and people want to say “well I know that the Nile just turned to blood and that all this crazy stuff is happening you said would happen but it is just all a good guess, there is no God”. YOUR WRONG! There is a God, he is the Father of all men and women, the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, the father of Jesus Christ! We give you praise heavenly father for your power is unending and eternal.

So now we see that there are hundreds of examples in the old testament alone that show us not to doubt. God is willing to reveal himself to remind those who think they are in charge who is really in charge. But what about doubting that Jesus Christ is the Son of God? 20 Then Jesus began to denounce the towns in which most of his miracles had been performed, because they did not repent. 21 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22 But I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you. 23 And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted to the heavens? No, you will go down to Hades.[e] For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Sodom, it would have remained to this day. 24 But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.” (Matthew Chapter 11 verse 20-24 NIV) Jesus Christ performed hundreds of miracles, healed thousands, brought the dead back to life, fed thousands with just enough for a few, did things that where “impossible”. Even know the Lord provided hundreds and hundreds of signs that he was and is God, He was still ignored and ridiculed and ultimately murdered because of the people doubting!

Perhaps the greatest example of doubt is the story of Thomas, Thomas is called “doubting Thomas” because Jesus Christ appeared to the disciples after he rose from the dead and Thomas was not with them to see Jesus, instead of glorying the Lord and falling to his knees to worship God knowing that he brought Jesus Christ back from the dead He did not believe, he doubted, until:

26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” (John Chapter 20 verse 26-28 NIV) Jesus Christ did rise from the dead! And He told him “put your finger here, see my hands” he told him to put his finger int he hole the nail had made through his hand! The Lord Jesus Christ is risen! He is alive! He died for your sins!

Some of you are saying even now, this proves nothing, well perhaps your heart is truly hardened even now, instead of calling on the name of the Lord you want to explain and doubt, instead how about you pray to God for a sign that you are wrong. How about you actually pray, you are to pray in secret, so what is the worse that could happen? You could find out you are full of sin and you are in need of Jesus Christ just like I am, just like all Christians are. None are worthy of the Lord, that is why the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is so precious! God gave us the way to praise and worship him! The last and greatest sacrifice so that we may live! Thank you Jesus! Thank you Lord! You truly are power! Father please touch those reading this message and remind them you are God, you are there, and just because they don’t believe doesn’t mean they wont bow before you and confess Jesus Christ is Lord, Son of God!

Amen.

He is worthy of all praise and worship!

What can you say about the Lord? He is truth, He is the light, He is power, He is grace, He is understanding, He is amazement, He is all knowing, He is perfect, He is never failing, He is loving, He is jealous, He is patient, He is mighty, He is wise, He is eternal! Praise you Hosanna! Never forget the Lord is worthy of all praise and worship! If you praise the Lord and say anything about his love, or his perfection, or knowledge, or power, and you glorify him by truly understanding he is the King of Kings, the creator of all things, you should praise, worship, and fear the Lord! Remember that His power is unmatched and cannot be defeated, for even the very winds of the earth obey the Lord! – 23 Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. 24 Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. 25 The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”
26 He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

27 The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!” Matthew Chapter 8 verse 23-27 NIV)

How powerful is our God? He has the power to heal anything, the power to do anything, for all the Lord must do is have a thought and his will becomes reality! Fear the Lord your God! Praise and worship Him because he is worthy of it! Never forget that Jesus Christ healed the blind, he saved those possessed by demons and drove them out, the evil ones shrieked in the night: 28 When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes,[c] two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way. 29 “What do you want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?” (Matthew Chapter 8 verse 28) The power of the Lord is known by all things, specially the devil and those thrown down from heaven with him. They fear even the sight of the Lord, how terrible to think about those who try to show how “strong” they are by saying their is no God and they do not fear him, the Lord humbles all those who stand against him.

The Lord is patient, loving, caring, and wishes for all to call on his name. Never forget that God, creator of heaven, creator of earth, sent his only son Jesus Christ to die for the sins of man, he watched his son beaten and tortured even know his Son was the only thing ever born of flesh free from sin, free from the cause for being beat, and yet God allowed man to punish his Son for no crimes he had made, he died for the crimes that we have made against the Lord. Jesus Christ gave his life of his own accord, He laid his life down willingly to die so we may be saved, Jesus Christ is love! 17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.” (John Chapter 10 verse 17-18 NIV)

Praise the Lord for his strength, his knowledge, his power, his love, his grace, and all his perfection! Praise you Lord for sending Jesus Christ to die for our sins, praise you Lord Jesus Christ for your sacrifice so that I may live! Thank you God for your love and power! Praise you Light of Judea! Praise you Hosanna! Jehovah! You are truly the corner stone! Praises to the most high king!! Amen.
