Jesus is Waiting! His Arms are open wide, run to him now! Let him cover you and be your Savior!

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John Chapter 3 verse 16-17 KJV)

7Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John Chapter 10 verse 7-10 KJV)

6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John Chapter 14 verse 6 KJV)

11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans Chapter 10 verse 11-13 KJV)

9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans Chapter 10 verse 9 KJV)

The ABCs of Becoming a Christian

A – Admit to God that you are a sinner and repent, turning away from your sin.

“…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” – Romans 3:23

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 6:23

“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,” – Acts 3:19

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” – 1 John 1:9

B – Believe that Jesus is God’s Son and accept God’s gift of forgiveness from sin.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” – John 14:6

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” – Acts 4:12

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” – Ephesians 2:8-9

C – Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. – Romans 10:9-10

Jesus Christ is waiting for you! He is waiting with arms wide open, waiting for you to call on His name so he may enter your heart and make your life more amazing than you could ever imagine! Just think about being crushed by a terrible debt that you owe to the bank, and no matter how hard you try, no matter what you sell, how many hours you work, you just cannot pay the debt! Then a random good person pays your debt for you suddenly! Imagine the weight that would be lifted if you never had to worry about money again! Well friends Jesus Christ is waiting to help you pay the most crushing debt of all… your sin.

What must I do?

The Scripture says, if you will confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9) To confess Jesus as your Lord is to surrender your will, your desires, your future, and your life to His Lordship and trust in Him. You must repent, or turn from your sins and surrender to God’s will for your life. You must believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, accepting His sacrifice as payment for your sins.
