You are loved by the God of the universe and He knows your name.

If you are visiting this page and this site, you aren’t here by accident. Who is Jesus? Does God really love you? What is this cross business all about? Can you truly be forgiven and free? If you are ready, the truth you’ll find here may transform your heart. Keep reading to learn the answers to the most important question in life: who is Jesus?

Before you can truly be ready to experience the new life God wants you to know, it’s important to consider what the Bible, God’s Word to humanity has to say concerning Jesus.

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.” (John 3:16-17 NLT)

So there it is… from the mouth of Jesus Himself. God loves you and because of His great love for you, He has given everything through Jesus so you can be forgiven and free. It is not God’s desire that you would be separated from His love but without Jesus none of us can come to God.

So God loves me and gave Jesus for me, but why did Jesus really come?

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10 NIV)

So God loves me so much He gave His only Son Jesus so I could be forgiven and free. Jesus came so I could have not just life but a full life living in a relationship with God. But do I really need Jesus to come to God? Don’t all paths lead to the same God?

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

The truth is that there are only two paths in life… through Jesus or apart from Jesus. Only faith and trust in Jesus leads to God. All other paths, religions, practices, and philosophies lead away from God.

So God loves me and gave Jesus for me so I could have eternal life. Jesus came so I could not just have life but eternal life and full life here. Jesus is the only way to God and salvation, what do I need to do to be saved?

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9 NIV)

If you’ve made it this far, chances are you are really seeking a new life. If you’re anything like us, you’ve tried so many other things in this life and all of your best attempts have left you hollow, sad, and hurting. If you are here, our prayer is that you would realize what we have: without Jesus we have no hope. Because of Jesus, we are totally transformed, forgiven, and free. Brave souls, read on.

The ABCs of Becoming a Christian

A – Admit to God that you are a sinner and repent, turning away from your sin.

“…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” – Romans 3:23

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 6:23

“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,” – Acts 3:19

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” – 1 John 1:9

B – Believe that Jesus is God’s Son and accept God’s gift of forgiveness from sin.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” – John 14:6

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” – Acts 4:12

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” – Ephesians 2:8-9

C – Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. – Romans 10:9-10

God loves you in a desperate, scandalous way. He doesn’t care what anyone thinks of His love for you! No matter how horrible your past has been, God desperately seeks for you to come to know His love and the life that only He can give you. You can’t do it on your own. Religion can’t save you. Good works can’t save you. Nothing you can do on your own can save you. It is faith alone in Jesus Christ alone that leads to true salvation and life.
